ABOUT COMPANY OST-Aqua company, which forms part of OST business group, is one of the key Russian producers of natural soft drinks, mineral drinking water, as well as low-alcohol cocktails..
Water constitutes the basis of all the factory products. The high quality of the water in the subterranean water basin of the scientific city Chernogolovka in particular was at the bottom of the company establishment in this region in 1997. There are three artesian wells at the disposal of JSC OST-Aqua (close corporation): two wells 170 meters deep and one well 105 meters deep. The water, which is supplied to the water-distributing network, undergoes 5 stages of treatment and is checked according to more than 20 parameters, and is controlled at 11 process checkpoints during the process of beverage production. All OST-Aqua beverages are produced according to the unique recipes formulated by the company experts. The technologies provide for utilization of only natural high-quality components: herbal infusions and extracts, saps, natural wine. It advantageously distinguishes the factory produce from the products of many other producers.
The combination of modern technologies and old traditions of natural beverage making resulted in perfect outcome: the factory products, which were exhibited at Russian and international shows and expositions, on repeated occasions won the prizes and awards as “Brand of the Year”, “Commodity of the Year”, “Top Hundred of the Best Russian Commodities”, Grand Prix and gold medals of Russian, German and French tasting contests.
The biggest among them, International show “Prodexpo-2008”, brought new triumphs to OST-Aqua company. The unique drinking water Courtois™, iodine and fluorine-conditioned, took Grand Prix in the Expo tasting contest, non-alcohol drinks “Sayany” and “Duyshes” under TM Beverages from Chernogolovka were awarded gold medals, and a series of low-alcohol cocktails Casual™ Club got the “Prodexpo Star”.
At present the company is located on the area of more than 6,000 sq. m, including the administration complex, production buildings, warehouses, auxiliary and other installations. As to the level of equipping, the factory meets the strictest requirements of local and foreign technical and technological standards. To realize the company strategic plans, the modernization of production was done at the factory in 2007 and a new PET bottling line 15,000 bottles/hour was commissioned. A new glass bottling line 16,000/36,000 bottles/hour will be commissioned this year.
Full compliance of OST-Aqua products with all international standards and serious production facilities allow the factory not only to produce millions of liters of beverages under its own trade marks, but also to act as bottler of many first-rate world brands. The factory production facilities are used to bottle on demand of “Alco-Standard”, “Happyland”, “Marine Express” –Greenal’s™, “Soltein” – Absenter™ and other companies. The worldwide known company PepsiCo Holdings, which entrusted glass-bottling of its beverages to OST-Aqua factory, is also listed among the factory partners.
